mysafety.net is a free buddy system for use by anyone wanting to reduce risks to their personal safety. It is a website application with a range of functionality helping users share information, flag risks and make an investment into the safety of their colleagues.

mysafety.net cannot remove you from a potentially hazardous situation (and as such is not a lone worker solution), however if used to create a community where itinerary information is being submitted and risk information is being shared, it can be used to reduce risk and notify colleagues of unaccounted team members.


mysafety.net allows a user to:

• Create a community for colleagues to join
• Link to other colleagues by becoming 'buddies'
• Create itinerary appointments in line with the activities linked to your job role
• Nominate one or more buddy to specifically become a safety buddy (i.e. someone who is notified if you fail to respond to your alerts)
• Share information within your community about places, points of interest and known risks
• Receive daily risk notifications in line with your itinerary
• Receive automatic updates for your safety, and alerts for buddies unable to respond to theirs
